Open until 19 April 2026, The Weight of Being at Two Temple Place, London is an exhibition exploring artistic expression and mental health.
The exhibition features Artangel Collection work, Abi Palmer Invents the Weather, alongside a diverse body of works, drawing on vulnerability, resilience and mental health in art.
Abi Palmer Invents the Weather is a series of films commissioned by Artangel in 2023. Unable to reach the outside world during the Covid-19 pandemic, Abi Palmer began a year-long process of performing the outside world for her indoor cats Cha-U-Kao and Lola Lola, translating each season into a cat-accessible format.
