even though this exhibition by the artist Andy Holden and his ornithologist father Peter says it’s about a history of birds’ nests and egg collecting, it’s actually something far more passionate, eccentric, nuanced and (honestly) interesting: a veiled meditation on obsessions, knowledge and the relationship between a father and son. – Eddy Frankel, Time Out, 10 September 2017

'Feather Collection (ongoing)' is a bespoke vitrine containing Peter Holden's carefully mounted and annotated collection of feathers. The collection which has been accumulated on bird watching expeditions over several decades, includes penguins, woodpeckers and egret feathers. The collection is presented alongside Andy Holden's collection of nest collection, exploring the father and son's shared interest in collecting but differing methods of presentation.
