RUTH EWAN Did you kiss the foot that kicked you? is a line taken from the song Ballad of Accounting by the late English singer, songwriter and socialist Ewan MacColl. For Ruth’s performance, Ballad of Accounting was slipped into the diverse musical repertoires of over 100 buskers scattered across the City of London. A selection of the different versions of the song can be heard on a limited edition vinyl produced to accompany the project. For more information please visit
