James Lingwood Co Director
Co-Director of Artangel with Michael Morris, since 1991, and Artangel Media, set up in 2000, Lingwood has commissioned and produced a range of projects for Artangel from Rachel Whiteread's House to Tony Oursler's The Influence Machine, and film and television projects such as Matthew Barney's Cremaster 4, Douglas Gordon's Feature Film and Richard Billingham's Fishtank. In rare moments of downtime from Artangel's growing activities, Lingwood also curates exhibitions and projects for museums in Europe and North America - most recently retrospectives of Thomas Schutte, Vija Celmins and Julia Sarmento's work and in 2004 a survey of Susan Hiller's work for baltic in Gateshead. He is trustee of the London-based artist's group Cubitt Studios and is on the International Advisory Boards of the Museu de Serralves in Porto, the Atelier Calder in Saché, France and the Capc in Bordeaux.
Michael Morris Co Director
Michael Morris has, with James Lingwood, been Co-Director of Artangel since 1991 and Artangel Media set up in 2000. Prior to that he was the Director of Performing Arts at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London. For Artangel, Morris has commissioned and produced projects by Robert Wilson, Michael Clark, William Forsythe, Brian Eno and Laurie Anderson, John Berger and Simon McBurney amongst many others.
Michael is also the Director of Cultural Industry ltd, a UK-based international production company with particular ongoing commitments to Robert Lepage, Pina Bausch and the theatrical hybrid Shockheaded Peter.
Rachel Anderson Head of Interaction
Rachel is responsible for the planning and delivery of the Interaction programme. She previously held the position of Education and Outreach Manager at the South London Gallery where she established a broad programme of on and off-site artists' collaborations with the local community.
Prior to that she managed the Queensbridge Youth Project in Hackney and developed initiatives such as the Queensbridge Community Arts Partnership and the Childrens' Fund Local Providers Network.
Rachel graduated from Kent Institute of Art and Design, Canterbury with a degree in Fine Art in 2001 and maintains her artistic practice today. She is a patron of Creative Routes and a member of the Management Committee for Charlie Chaplin Adventure Playground.

Rob Bowman Head of Programmes and Production
Rob is responsible for planning and developing Artangel’s programming activities. He was previously a Curator at the ICA, where he developed exhibitions with a range of international artists, and ran Beck’s Futures exhibition and awards, for which he also commissioned and produced a number of new works. Prior to this, Rob was on the curatorial team at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford where he worked with artists as diverse as Marina Abramovic, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Matt Mullican, and organised a number of ambitious group exhibitions and a programme of offsite projects. Rob occasionally writes and speaks on issues related to contemporary art and artistic practice.

Maria David Head of Development
Maria graduated in Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2001, and received an MA in Art Criticism at City University in 2002. She worked in the Development Department of Sadler's Wells theatre for 18 months, before taking up a position at the Royal Academy of Arts. There she set up and ran the Contemporary Patrons' programme, which was a completely new initiative for the Royal Academy and contributed to the development of the Academy's Contemporary Season. At Artangel, Maria is responsible for planning and developing all Artangel's fundraising activities. Sarah Davies Development & Publicity Coordinator
Sarah graduated in 2002 from Goldsmiths College, London, with a degree in Fine Art and Art History. Since university she has worked as assistant manager at the Greenwich Village Gallery in south London, and for specialist arts marketing agency The Cogency. She joined Artangel in 2004 and since then has provided administrative support, worked as part of the Interaction team, and assisted on the production of a number of projects. Her responsibilities now lie across the press and publicity and development departments; organising events and openings, and looking after Artangel's patrons, the Company of Angels. Stéphanie Delcroix PhD Researcher in collaboration with Queen Mary, University of London
Stéphanie's research consists of developing an online platform for Artangel projects which will be both a documentary resource and a site for debate and critical exchange.
Stéphanie graduated in Art History at Université de Rennes, France, in 1999, and received an MA in Arts Criticism from City University, London, in 2005.
Most recently, Stéphanie was responsible for internationally touring and promoting 'Panacea', an artist-led project in collaboration with the John Hansard Gallery, and for press relations at furtherfield.org.
She regularly contributes to art magazines and is particularly interested in writing about art in strange places.
Stéphanie is currently on maternity leave, returning in Spring 2009.
Tom Dingle Production Coordinator
Tom graduated from the Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins in 2003. Since graduating he has worked freelance for various arts organisations including Chisenhale Gallery and Art Review. Tom has also worked as an artist's assistant. He has maintained his artistic practice and has exhibited twice in London since graduating. Seb Emina Web Editor
Seb joined Artangel as Web Editor in October 2008 and is currently responsible for putting together the content for the new website, due to be launched early next year. Previously co-director of Spitalfields-based creative agency Seb & Fiona, his recent editorial, PR and marketing projects have taken in work with Kinetica Museum, The Guardian, Old Spitalfields Market and The End of the Road Festival. He was a founder of cult blog The London Review of Breakfasts and has formerly worked as Press Officer at The Spitz and as a literary publicist for Bloomsbury Publishing and Mitchell Beazley. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a joint honours degree in English & Philosophy.

Satoko Fujishiro Interaction Associate
Satoko graduated from Meiji University, Tokyo in 2003 with a degree in Geography. She came to study in England and graduated in 2008 from University of Leicester, with an MA in Museum Studies. Previously, she has worked with museum and art gallery education departments to deliver public and school programmes and still works for the National Gallery’s family programmes. Satoko joined Interaction in November 2008 to take up an eighteen month traineeship and will be working on all aspects of the Interaction programme.

Jess Gormley
Jess Gormley joined Artangel in September as a trainee producer on the Jerwood Artangel Open film project, 'Buttershaw'. Previously she worked on five films for Tate Britain and Channel 4 on the Liverpool based Turner Prize, 2007. These consisted of four 'Three Minute Wonders' on each of the nominated artists and one half hour documentary, entitled 'Taken for a Ride,' in which a Liverpudlian taxi driver attends art appreciation classes at Tate Liverpool. Previously Jess worked as a researcher on Theatre de Complicite's recent production, 'A Disappearing Number'. She has a Masters in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art and spent one year working in Barcelona as a curator/producer.

Cressida Hubbard
Administrative Director
Cressida graduated from Clare College, Cambridge, in 1987 with a degree in history. After three years working for the retailers The Burton Group she moved to the United States where she became Manager of the resident chamber music group at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. On returning to the UK she worked for The English Concert, The Consort of Musicke and The Mephisto Ensemble before becoming Finance Co-ordinator for Siobhan Davies Dance Company in 2000. She joined Artangel as Finance Manager in April 2002 and became Administration Director in 2006. Gabrielle Le Cocq
Gabrielle graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 2004 with an MA in Fine Art and was a participant on the Research Program at CCA, Kitakyushu in Japan from 2000-2001. Before joining Artangel she worked for ACAVA, an organization providing artists studios in London. Janette Scott Head of Press and Publicity
Janette is responsible for the press, public relations and marketing for Artangel's projects, interaction programme, publications and website. Prior to Artangel she was Head of Marketing and Development at The Photographers' Gallery, responsible for publicity and fundraising for its exhibitions, events and education programme, including facilitation of The Citibank Photography Prize. Before moving into the arts, Janette had a diverse range of marketing roles in retail, manufacturing and publishing. Janette graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Studies.

James Smith Trainee Producer
James graduated in 2003 with a degree in Fine Art from Kingston University. He has previously worked at Whitechapel where he was responsible for the late night programme of music and poetry, launching nights such as Dirty Canvas and Wormhole Saloon. In 2007 he project managed Catherine Sullivan and Simparch shows in Liverpool with the A Foundation. Independently he produces projects for emerging artists such as Lundahl&Seitl.
