June 1986

For a public project during the 1986 ‘Venice Biennale’, Artangel invited proposals from artists and selected a performance piece from the London-based group Station House Opera. Every night during the opening week of the ‘Biennale’ they presented A split second of paradise, a one-hour piece, with a cast of five and hundreds of building blocks.
